This episode: The Boat Geeks learn Sam was a commercial vendor at the second annual Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival in 1978. He hasn't missed a festival since! Sam is well known for his distinctive designs, combining traditional lines with his own aesthetics. His shop, based in Olympia, has build more than 400 boats! A great many plying our own local waters in the Pacific NW.
